Its winter here in the subtropics; the early morning here today was not frigid, but well cool. Our morning light is lovely at this time of year; bright, yet soft and golden.
A touch of 'reverse cycle' and my kitchen is cozy, warm. Breakfast is a hot toasted muffin, topped with diced avocado, a smidgen of salt and just a dash of squeezed lime. Fresh coffee. I sit and watch the play of light upon the various glasses in the kitchen window. I have no need of a conjectural paradise- It's right here.
