Just listening to a talk about the question: How do you deal with an awareness of what you don’t know, and you don’t know how to know, in dealing with a particular problem? seems we have to figure this out on a political stage and wonder what are your thoughts?

How do I deal with the awareness there are (many) things I don’t know (and never will)..? I got good at it as a kid! As an adult, I glean all I can from what we do know!

There will remain mysteries, but humans are capable of accepting that. Granted, there are lots of people clinging to cultural or historical accounts that once ‘explained’ phenomena they didn’t understand, but I’m not one of them, and their numbers are dwindling.

Anymore, amid enlightened nations, religion remains a tool to motivate the segment of society clinging to it; due to their ignorance, it includes a sorry lot. I suspect in time that will diminish, but there are countless other ‘wedge issues’ to exploite..
