I was asked last night when I lost my mother. My reply she's not lost she's dead! 😂 I hate that phrase, along with when did she pass over. Wtf does that even mean? 😂

I'm with you. These euphemisms serve no purpose other than to really annoy. I especially hate 'so and so passed.'. Passed what? A test? The beans? Me on the highway? What is so horrible about just saying someone died?

I remember some medical drama/comedy show years ago where the doctor said that

"I didn't lose my patient, I know right where he's at... he's dead."

Sounds like something House would say. ?
