In God we should trust?

In Oz we are being gently prepared for an economic collapse.
This is not spoken officially, but by people who know what is happening, political advisors, ex Federal Bank execs and the like. Just behind the headlines in the past few days has been advice on how to prepare. Almost all is pretty common sense stuff, not tat common sense is very common. But this one really worries me and speaks volumes.

"Embracing spirituality, whether by means of a formal organised religion such as Christianity or other belief systems prior to the economic crisis can provide individuals with their own sense of meaning and purpose and can inspire them to personal excellence as well as to obtain profound insights and guidance that can assist in managing adversity."

Geeze brother... i wish you well on this crisis. We come close over here with the government running out of money. But ive never heard the government to say to get spiritual about in preparation gor it... that is troubling to hear

that's what's actually printed on your money... In Gawd we trust.

@Lukian Strange, over here it isn't, and our constitution states the gov should not be involved in religion.

@Rugglesby same here in Canada.

That reminds me of "On the Beach" in which they gave everyone a suicide pill.
