“The Atlantic”, “The Wisdom of Russell Brand”
Can’t find a good category for this. ? Despite all of his mania I find his viewpoints challenging, fun and entertaining.
The Atlantic article refers to his conversation with Brian Cox the English physicist who serves as professor of particle physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. He is best known to the public as the presenter of science. It is an interesting conversation and certainly thought provoking. I prefer Brand to what most of the Brights have to say in public discourse.
I can find his stuff entertaining and challenging....but also falling into the "woo woo" category. I take him with a grain of salt...
He's entertaining to listen to, and clever no doubt. But he's a sexist narcissist.
Personally, I can't get with Russell Brand. I find it hard to take him seriously due to his stance on God/intelligent design — he's infuriatingly, belligerently credulous on it all.
One of those cases of disagreeing with a person so strongly that any goodwill I may have had towards them goes straight out the window and i write them off entirely — and probably unfairly.
