Newton's third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
This applies in society and psychology as it does in physics.
You push a bloody stupid radical agenda hard enough, you will not get a reasoned debate and logical argument in return, you will get and equally bloody stupid knee jerk reactionary agenda.
Radicalised idiots love to fight among themselves and don't really care who pays the collateral damage.
