I understand that Bridenstine became Trump's NASA boy in April and in May he is declaring that Climate change exists and that humans are responsible. Sounds like he was a bit off message there for the Trump camp. Could be interesting times ahead in that arena!

here in WA State 'normal' temps for this time of year.

It is also the hottest June temperature today since 1976. This is Northern Ireland where we normally consider 2O degrees centigrade to be a hot day, today it was over 30 degrees and they have introduced a hosepipe ban as of 6pm this evening. We live in the wettest part of the UK so this is almost unheard of...in fact the last time was in 1976 too.

yes we hit 30 today and should be all the same for all of next week. The dog days of summer (mid-end-July) is about 3 weeks early. Predicting a high of 46C with humidex factored in next week.
