The Violence Central American Migrants Are Fleeing Was Stoked by the US

[vice.com]

“I get asked all the time, Why can’t Central Americans just stay in their country and strive for better?” Oglesby told me. “I want people to understand, Central Americans have been trying to do that for decades, and the United States put itself on the wrong side of those struggles, and now we are reaping the consequences.”

Finally, someone besides me is trying to get the whole story out there! If you don't want them, then stay the fuck out of their country's and their elections!

And why do you think USA deeps its spoon from Guatemala to Panama?

They are, especially Panama, strategically valuable. With Panama you have a sense of control of shipping lanes from one side of world to the other! Guatemala was more about stopping a socialist take over some decades back for corporate interest headed by the CIA. Eventually leading to several peasant rebellions with incarcerations and massacres. You can read more about that here>>>[en.wikipedia.org]

@William_Mary I don't have to read about the issue; I speak Spanish, I am from South America and I know the stories.
I wanted to know if you knew what you were posting.

The Guatemala issue is one well known to my other country because we were at the verge of becoming a "socialist land" as well. Thanks to USA and to our Army it didn't happen. Before you answer you need to know what it feels to live under the threat of terrorism. Adiós.
