....It has taken me a good, long while to muster up the courage to post something that hopefully provides a little bit of insight into my pea-brain thoughts on all things existential....
Humans, being the meaning-making machines we are, like to validate our existence by pointing to our altruistic efforts. Now that my career has been sidelined due to auto-immune disease, I am carving out new purposes for living....new avenues for extracting every drop of value in order to convince myself that this day mattered.
I contemplated posting my thinking on a free support group website, but the truth of the situation is -- I am not seeking help or solution to a problem; rather, an outlet to jot down my thoughts....
So, this post isn't going anywhere, and I need to put the clothes in the dryer. On this third day of July in the Year of Our Gaia, 2018, I profess and announce to the world that I AM.
