I am off for the holiday. I live alone. My family is 1000 miles from me. I stayed up late last night. I woke up at 11am this morning. Yes, I did. I had coffee and sat out on my weathered wicker chair in my little 6x10 outside space with my potted flowers. Without putting on a bra. Without combing my hair. I had cold fried chicken for breakfast. Yes, I did. And I liked it. I have not showered yet. No, I haven't. I am back in bed watching a documentary on PBS. Yes. I'm back in bed. Later, I will rinse my face, put on those khaki shorts lieing in the corner, and go to Walmart for TP and coffee filters. After, I will get back into bed and flip the channels. I will wait and wait and wait, till night time so that I can watch Big Brother. I will be asleep for work tomorrow by 9pm. This is how I am spending my holiday off and... I am not ashamed!
