Just the fact that the ruling class owned media was giving her air time made me suspicious. Another neoliberal in disguise.
However....
This article was no different to the politics it was criticising. It offered no plan of action. No solutions. No practical advice. Nothing.
In a way these types of articles are more toxic than the politics they criticise because they make people cynical, jaded and defeatest.
So I hope this woman makes a difference. Even a small difference is beneficial if it makes the lives of working class Americans slightly easier. Anything is better than nothing and things can built on. Unlike this article which suggests new ideas then contradicts itself by admitting most of the media is owned by the ruling class. A media that won't tolerate ideas it doesn't like.
The answer is to become politically active, protest and join a union and become active in a union. Unions are the best hope of change.

It's beginning to seem that way 
While Teodrose Fikre writes mainly to get you to think, often using his own past experience, as I do this here, also gives insight to solutions. Within the article are 2 links where solutions were attempted. One by Cynthia McKinney against Bush in the push to Iraq. Although shunned by her fellow democrats, it demonstrates effort, a different mind set to also create self thought, which Ocasio-Cortez is going to face, again, or not. The other link consist of Teodrose Fikre clearly attempting to offer solutions. In which mainly draw you back to my initial statement. Why we do this. Getting the truth out there is the first line of defense. Creating a mass solution, which is YOU! US! and those we can mass collect to fight back.
We need new candidates to replace those who feel they are more important than the issues.

We need a new party to replace the old farts shiting on us! If this women is indeed already changing her tune in support of wars and Clinton, then she's just a new person with the same old flaws. She's been on MSM at least twice now with the opportunity to stand her ground and speak and she's wavered. That's not a good sign!
