Wondering about any thoughts about why we are so different to other species on this planet.
Because we won the race to being able to manipulate our environment, rather than having to adapt to it, in terms of effectiveness. Our hands were the greatest gift granted to us through evolution, and we beat the other primates in leaving the forests. Once there, we were able to "relax" and hone our intelligence.
In terms of our biology though, there isn't much about us that is strictly human only. Pretty much everything about us is just a more complex version of our natural counterparts.
