The Dems do not seem to have a charismatic leader who the people can really get behind. They need to start now to position someone for the 2020 election and be united in the selection. I don't think anything will come of the investigation. And I've yet to see any signs that a decent opposition will be in place before the next election. I think we are likely to see another 4 years of Trump.

I think a whole lot of Republicans are and will continue to leave the party and join the ranks of those members of both parties who have left to become so-called independents.
