I just some time debating a Christian fundamentalist. He would make statements such as the Gilgamesh flood story came after Noah and volumes of other misinformation. Of course I explained what mainstream scholars and historians are saying. I finally stopped talking after a while Was it a waste of time. Are they too brainwashed to be reachec?

In all my years, I've never ONCE heard a Xtian admit the logic and truth of my arguments. If they agreed with me...it would mean they've been HOODWINKED and their BIG SKY DADDY's not real! Too scary for believers because they need to believe they're SPECIAL!

I think they’re too frightened to consider the truth.. That’s why anything we might say ‘in defence of reality’ is likely construed as ..the thoughts of the devil. I’ll talk till they drop, though 😉

Most proselytize in pairs, to keep an eye on each other.. I like to monitor the one showing some promise … as the other squirms.. It’s a blast!
