A great guy. "Offending" everyone.

Yes, he could use any number of verses, but could also add: "If this offends you, read your bible, and then consider Humanism" (Or atheism or what-have-you.)

Yes, the bible is wildly offensive. Perhaps evilbible.com would help...

My favorites are: Luke 14:26, and Matthew 10:34-35. I love throwing it at the "Family Values" types!

An oldie but a goodie.

Does she read her bible? Maybe she only reads the Gospels and thinks the rest of the book is trash. Ha ha.

Right. The gospels that tell the "truth" about Jesus but sounds oddly familiar to all the other pagan writings......and Paul is the leader of a cult, with his "secret that has only been revealed to him" letters.

This was quite amusing, thanks for sharing.

Funny how those whom are cherry picking what they believe in their Bible are quick to point out how this gentleman is cherry picking. or trying to still twist the facts. like the guy who stated that it also states that husbands should love their wives like jesus did the church. My understanding was that he did not approve of churches, taking of tythings, and similar church staples; but I was never a good student of theology.

Well he’s certainly got a lot to choose from if he’s looking for other offensive quotes from the bible!

Good ol' apostle Paul. Put the two verses together and you get 'Love your wife as an inferior'.

LMAO this made my day thank you for sharing.

Cherry picking is par the course 🙂

He was middle of the road,

could have gone hard core cherry picking with Psalm 137

"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones"

of Psalm 137:9

Blessed is he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.

I meant the lady was cherry picking from her bible, but I suppose you could say the truck driver was too. And you're right, that Psalm 137:9 is a nasty one. ?
