I want to thank all that replied to my post. It did not fall on deaf ears! Living in Indiana as I do, does not give me a very wide range of other nonbelievers. Those I do know are to close to be objective. Very wise, very honest and sometimes witty responses. I'm choosing to honor my integrity. P. S. He was also a closet Trump supporter. I thought a lot of heads would explode so I left that out
Personality cults exist on both Right and Left. Fortunately for the country, they are limited to the lunatic fringes. From here, close to the center, it appears a lot more lethal to our system on the system opposing Left than the religious fanatics on the Right.
One can actually vote for one of the two usually abominable choices offered by partisans on each side of the spectrum without being a worshipful sycophant; something else because of their special herd orientation, the majority on the Left cannot grasp. One can also bitterly disagree with some policies of the former candidate, once hired, without condemning him/her as tantamount to being criminal; as hero worshipers tend to do.
Extremism belongs to the partisans regardless which fringe they comprise. They reveal it by the extreme ways they either vilify the opposition personality or deify their golden heroes.
When I detect personality cult minions from either side it is daunting to the hope that someday people will finally reach a starting point wherein our special human gift located between our ears will be cherished instead of abdicated to this tin god politician or that superstitious guru.
Noooooo...trump cultist. Biggest red flag of all! So glad to hear your not hearing impaired I hope you are happy in whatever you decide.
Be careful. Lonelines and neediness can make it very easy to make bad choices. Don't know if that explains what you did or not. It does explain my bad decisions recently...
Yep, loneliness (aka loonieness) and neediness will do it every time! I have made decisions based on them a time or two!
