The only time I go to church is for wedding or a funeral and sometimes Christmas Eve with my family but since I was young I've never felt comfortable there #chruch

i grew up with religion myself. it was always stressed that the church was actually the people, and the building had nothing sacred about it. it was simply a place to gather outside of the weather I guess. so for me most any Gathering of people around here is kind of reminiscent of church..... these folks pray at the drop of a hat, or a ball game, or really any excuse is good enough to pray about..... I really don't pay much attention anymore.... kind of like the furniture of living in the Bible Belt.

I have never had a religion, and churches don’t have any power over me. They are just buildings, sometimes very beautiful. I do not feel anything spiritual when inside them, but can understand why others may feel so.

Thankfully my parents never made me go to church, and even as a kid churches gave me the creeps for reasons I did not understand at the time.
