On my way to "church" last Sunday. Bike-riding is one of the few things in life that consistently leaves me feeling joyful and recalibrated. ("Sunday Best" brought to you by Columbia and Birkenstock!)

I like biking and swimming. Both are great ways to stay in shape.

I'm an avid walker & swimmer, but I miss the high from a good aerobic exercise session, which I took up after getting knee and ankle problems from running on too-hard surfaces.
But my "church" is the theater--live performance or movies--I still vibe on the whole communal ritual of it. Thanks to my ex-wife, we got married in a vintage movie house, then had the reception in her church, a library.

I am an avid mountainbiker. It is my lifeline. Granted, I'm now on an e-bike, but that means I can go farther, faster and ride more often; and at 68 yrs old, I am optimistic that, barring disabling illness or injury, I will be able to ride my bike aggressively well into my 70s. Cycling is life!

I can get it from a 6 to 8 mile walk as well.
