Counseling. IIRC, I've seen a variety of posts regarding seeking counseling and yet often it is faith based counseling. I've recently heard of [betterhelp.com] (more specifically, [betterhelp.com]. I make no claims as to the quality, but it's been mentioned that you can get counseling from an atheist or something along those lines. Just FYI.

Call a local hot line and say specifically what you need counseling for, and your desire for non-faith based. Not all counselors are good at everything, just like other doctors, they specialize.

I had a friend who badly needed help for alcoholism but the only place he was directed to was AA and he couldn’t take the overtly religious atmosphere at the meetings and stopped going. I think the only thing that helped was Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, but he had to pay for this himself.
