I am headed to Alaska for a Princess Cruise line land sea tour. The land part goes overland to Denali. What do I need to know and plan for?
Anything special?
My sister and niece were hiking in Alaska. They came across a deer leg just laying in the middle of the path. They stood over it and mused that whatever dropped the deer leg must be faster than a deer, and maybe they should pay more attention on the hike. A few minutes later a faster hiker had caught up to them and they asked him if he saw the deer leg. He said no. Back to that really should be paying attention bit. Whatever dropped the deer leg was standing in the bushes next to them as they stood over it discussing it. It was mildly annoyed, but patiently waiting for these intruders to leave so he could pick up his deer leg and be on his way. If they had nudged the deer leg with a foot, I am sure the rightful owner would be very upset and would have come out to protect his deer leg. The moral of the story, don't kick the deer leg.
Lol got it
beary good advice
Have a great trip - don't be surprised to see a moose walking down the street in downtown Anchorage.
I hope so
