These words believed to be from Jesus, sealed and prolonged the enslavement of the black person. They still hold the black man from fighting for his FREEDOM. Shame on us.

John 14:1-3
" Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. 2 In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.… " Jesus Christ.

There is nothing in the Bible that condemns slavery. There are scriptures that condone slavery. I don't see that scripture does either.

The scripture enable slavery to progress without interruption, because blacks believe that they will be happy when they go to where Jesus promised instead of fighting for better life here and now.

I think religious dogma overall has enslaved the masses. Admen and politicians follow the examples of the fundementalist preachers to rouse the sheeple to their way of thinking. Peer pressure to conform, go along to get along. The passage in this post seems more welcoming than divisive but I have not read ALL the bible. I have tried but can't get throught it so can not say if it keep the black man down. What I KNOW for sure and for certain is the Jim Crow laws of the south DID.
