Lucky you!
Gotta have those blackout shades for your sleeping quarters.....this time of year the sun just barely kisses the horizon and then heads right back up. Be sure to check out the size of the vegetables growing up there. All that sun makes for some verrrrrry big veggies....

Hmmm lol yes I noticed the cucumbers!...The leaf vegetables are gigantic
I worked in Anchorage off and on in the early 80s. Unfortunately, because they were work trips, I didn't have a lot of time to sightsee. I did get to go bush flying in a private plane though. It was breathtaking. Enjoy!

Looking!!!
Thought it was the strangest thing to listen to the radio when I was there for a couple days. Never before heard traffic reports featuring delays caused by moose, as if it were the most normal thing.
