What question(s) do you wish the site would ask when people are first setting up their profile?
A summary of their hobbies and interests.
A summary of their education and career history.
Personal habits -- smoking, drinking, health, fitness.
Not an additional question, but rather an extra answer option.
It mildly anoys me that on the list of isms (atheism anti-thism, spiritual, agnostic, humanist, etc) that Satanism is not included.
Modern Satanism is an atheistic religion, recognized, and The Satanic Temple in particular does a lot to fight for the separation of church and state and religous plurality, and against the privledging of religous views and hegemony.
They really need a better name. Seriously.
no, not ironic at all and I disagree. Why call it something else when what it is is satanism? The idea of Satan as the liberator who stands against tyrany and authority is the foundational premis that unites those of us who are Satanists. The ethos grows from that idea. to call it something else would be dioshonest. we are people who identify with Satan; the charachter and the litterary traditions of him. We embrace the outsider staus that many of us never chose, wrap ourselves in our difference and celebrate it. And Satanism is about living in a way where you decide for yourself, rather than following the doctrines of those who would control your actions, thoughts, and body
