Part-time commercial photography. Lease inspections. I did it for a bit. Some retirees do it regularly, part-time

Thanks. I've never heard of lease inspections. I'll look into it!

I became a notary to officiate my best friends wedding. You have to be a notary in Florida to marry people. The fees you can charge in Florida are really low for being a notary so it’s not really worth it if you want to do it and a business because the required “training” by the state isn’t cheap. However a lot of banks and title companies will pay for your notary fees because it helps their business having you be one. Hope that helps!

There's no money in being a notary. Only reason to do that is if you do something else that involves documents that need notarization.

So that's what I've read, but recently started looking into being a Loan Signing Agent - which would require a notary license. Any experience or knowledge of this?

@Kassandra No, only from the perspective of a home buyer/seller.

I'm a non-religious minister. I marry people all the time. I used to make good money until the internet allowed everyone and their brother to be ordained. Now it's hard to make a living way. I stay busy. But now make 1/3 of what I made 15 years ago doing the same number of weddings per year! I guess if you are looking to make extra pocket change, it's enough. It's hard to get started now in this business.

Dog walking, house sitting. You need to be bonded to be taken seriously in those businesses. But they are easier to get onto.

Do you have a 4 year degree in anything at all?

Yep, I do have a Business Degree. I am also ordained (one of the people that you mentioned). I really did it to have the option to marry my friends or anyone who wanted a non-religious ceremony - but not so much for the money. I am already involved in Pet Sitting too. Thanks.

@Kassandra Pet sitting is cool, it brings in a little money but not alot i don't think...

Learn to play poker. Lots of place to play. And you can win just because you are a women. Because of macho bullshit. Every time you push your hand they will fold and you rake. Game show host cause you are funny.

Haha no thanks. I don't gamble with my money that I'm hoping to save.
