My 65 lbs. Pitty is sitting in my lap quivering. My 60 lbs Aussie right beside her.

My mean guard dogs shaken by a thunderstorm.

I have an aussie that just goes insane with thunderstorms and fireworks. I had an Rx from the vet, but have found that rubbing essential oils (Lavender) onto her coat and putting on a diffuser does a much better job. Good luck. It's so hard to see your best friend suffering!

Some Dogs are not at all concerned about Thunder, others want to go and hide under a bed, any, sudden, loud noise triggers their flight reflex, getting away from the disturbance. If you were not there as a comfort, they may have tried to escape.

Yep, they don't like storms and fireworks are worse.
