What a magnificent display the following video is from the young women, and a couple of guys, making up the Kyota Tachibana SHS Band strutting their stuff on syncopated shapely shod legs in socks and shoes through downtown Kyota shopping streets. The numbers of hours of dedication spent perfecting their routines will have been amazing.

Reminds of a Philly New Years parade.

It was actually refreshing to hear a marching band that did not sound only of trumpets and drums, as most do. I once argued with a marching band friend that her trombone was only a fancy trumpet.

Southern USA High Schools have a proud tradition of fantastic routines.
"Shapely booted legs" is kind of creepy, though...

?

@FrayedBear they are underage girls

@AnneWimsey So they should be demeaned by being denied the esteem of having favourable comment passed on their appearance, particularly as they largely put their McDonalds fed western equivalents to shame? Whose self worth are you trying to destroy @AnneWimsey with your pathetic comment?

@FrayedBear the comment, sweetie, was about You

I agree , they're fantastic . But they're not wearing boots . Those are black shoes with black knee high socks .

I stand corrected. The alliteration can be improved.

Great fitting socks that don't fall down from all that stomping!

@FrayedBear Perhaps they've found some anti-gravity secrete , like garters or some kind of glue . Maybe that invisible bandaid stuff .
