To onlyduh, haven't tried the beat-women/scotch/cigarettes diet to date. I agree we are all different genetically and epigenetically, which it is said covers every impact of the environment on you that ever happened. Since I am always asked to comment on people's health as an alternative doctor I was simply offering some comment on what has worked well for me so far. No intention to offend.
Hate to be preachy,but if you eat correctly with a good high fat diet, you wouldn't need any caffeine or anything else. I am 70 and have energy to spare, cycling miles and miles, doing high intensity kettlebell routines and the like. You are actually breaking yourself down by relying on caffeine and the like.
I keep a bottle of caffeine pills with me every where i go. Some says, its only by shear willpower & a desire to avoid being sent for random drug testing via city bus, that keeps me from grinding 2 up, cutting lines on a mirror & snorting caffeine directly up my nose. Well that & I can't easily roll 4 quarters into a 'straw' & I am fresh out of paper money.
Man those 5-hour energies are bad for you when I was working out at the military base we had a young plumber kid that drink 13 of the energy drinks in one day and ended up in the emergency room with his kidneys shutting down be careful my friend you can overdo that stuff
LOL I like coffee as strong n black as it comes but that shit was much better with a cigarette. Id take sugar ideally but i got in a habit of drinkin iced mochas and those shits are delicious. The dunkin donuts bottles of coffee are delicious if you notice em in gas stations, and better yet if you have a DD try their frozen coffee. Its a wake you up jamocha milkshake ?
