YW. Because it's in my (our) face and also we just got over a conservative government that de-Canadianized the country and our interactions with the world (we lost our seat at the UN security counsel), we lost many government climate scientist and NGOs heads. We were going down that path but our country is also very secular and could resist this onslaught.
What is unfair is unfair. I don't want a theocracy and a bully as my neighbour.
@CrazyQuilter what this world needs is a new empire: A completely Atheist country that is open to religious refugees. I'll bet that country would become highly advanced.
