Canada's Conservatives are really no different than the American brand, calling the media "fake news" when confronted about their BS.

This Conservative Ontario minister admits Ford government broke an election promise by scrapping basic income project. But today she called the statement "fake news;" she wants us to believe that changing their minds is not a broken promise. LLOL

They're even stealing lines from the Donald Trump-Steve Bannon play book.

They are using the trump play book because it is working. Sadly. 😟

Only to manipulate some, fortunately. Their playbook seems to be also motivating many to become involved in the political process, which is a good thing if it continues. That's what it will take to get the conservatives out of power when they have control.

That's what it took here in BC, in Canada when Trudeau replaced Harper, and what needs to happen to get rid of Trump and his minions.

Nothing serves the conservative cause better then public apathy. That's a bigger threat to our democratic systems then the conservatives themselves.

The Conservative are all the same, all over the world. A bunch of hypocrites, even in Australia.

Global conservatism is like global nazism, it's always hovering in the background like a vulture. But they are predictable if people just pay attention. That's why conservatives generally resist effective, free, and universal education. Knowledge is power and they want it all.
