It seems to difficult for some to apply any effort to learn the facts and make their decisions based upon them.Religion and it's acceptance blindly supports this effort to accept without challenge.

Yes, thank you. That’s why I have less tolerance for religion than ever.. In a modern society - there is no excuse. And, it’s no doubt shifting, it’s shifting to politics; religion has become political, at least in the USA. More like a team sport than a theological desire.
