How many people here have MRE's and emergency supplies in case our food chain is disrupted?

We have had enough close calls with hurricanes, tsunami warnings and even a missile scare that I've put together a pretty comprehensive emergency supply kit. Trouble is my choice of packaged foods expire somewhat quickly, so I keep having to use and replace.

I need to restock this week for sure, as we've got the first hurricane of the season, Hector, heading 100 miles to the south of our state. It's strengthening now, and is expected to weaken as it nears us, but it is good to get prepared just in case it turns up and whoops us. I currently have a lot of my emergency supplies repacked for an upcoming camping trip, and then will put my kit back in place when I return, unless we end up having to prepare sooner.

No I am not a survivalist.

@Bendog .mmm I have lived there 18 years.... if a huge hurricane would come I would fill up bathtub. I usually just buy a couple of gallons of water. Plenty of roads to Raleigh nc. Tornados are very small local events.
