It's purely biological. At the point of orgasm for both women,and men there is a release of oxytocin in the brain. That's the bonding hormone. Women usually release more oxytocin than men,thus, are more likely to feel that sex is a bonding experience.

I wonder why. Thank you for your answer, (although it is on the clinical side), I was thinking experientially, as my left brain is full enough while the right brain tries to take it apart. Aloha. Erick
@soquel I's impossible to separate the two; the physiological , and the experiential because at the point of orgasm there is the chemical release of oxytocin in both men, and women. I read that men who are the cuddlers after the fact, generally express more oxytocin than the men who jump up, and go cut the lawn instead. Women always release more ocytocin than men. Oxytoxin is also the hormone that causes Mothers to bond with their babies.
