Is this not proof that our president is a Monster ? Isnt it just absolutely impossible for anyone to do what this video shows the president doing / saying without being a verifiable sociopath ? I mean , anyone else doing this would absolutely have to be a sociopath too , wouldnt they ? I really do wanna hear a trump supporter justify an alternative view to this post . Im really curious about the nature of the mental gymnastics that would be required . You won't . You can't . Maybe you should just decide to try being honest with yourself ?

Ummm Saudi Arabia And the US are allies. This arms deal actually was approved during the Obama Administration

Doesnt that just prove that Obama is a Monster as well ?

@Scottzillyun our relationship with them goes back to 1933.

@Christiep77 @Christiep77 ...so what ?
Obviously you are intentionally avoiding the subject by trying to talk around it .

@Scottzillyun if she wanted to avoid subject, she just wouldn't respond lol

We'll see ?

@Scottzillyun I suppose Im just curious as to why this makes Trump specifically a monster or what you view in this as Trump’s fault? Im not defending Trump, Im simply trying to follow your logic. We have had armament deals with Saudi Arabia for years. Saudi Arabia is basically waging a proxy war in Yemen against the Iranian backed Houthi insurgency. Saudi Arabia supports the former Sunni led government. Iran is mostly Shi’a and Persian while Saudi Arabia is all Sunni and Arab. They hate each other. Because Saudi Arabia and Yemen share a long border, it is their national interest for Yemen to be stable and especially for Iran to not have a significant presence there. For the US, Saudi Arabia is an important ally against Iran and since we have resources in SAudi Arabia, its in our interest to keep them happy and safe. While there have been civilian casualties in Yemen, they have been collaterol damage. While this is still an atrocity and a horrible situation, Saudi Arabia is not striking civilian targets as this newscast would have you beleive. Syria and these forces they support, however, routinely target civilians and in some cases, their own people.

@sellinger thank you! You are right. Im not avoiding, Im just trying to understand what exactly he means here. Im not following his logic.

@Christiep77 @Christiep77 ... What makes him a monster based on this video is the massive amount of rational information that should if one was not a murderous - sociopath war-criminal sort of person who happened to be the U.S president and decision maker in this situation...that given that Yemen is generally considered to be the world's most dire humanitarian catastrophe at present , and all that entails , starving children etc ...that there should not be such giddiness about arming Saudi Arabia to escalate this catastrophe even further .
The casualness , the giddiness, the comfort in friendship with whats considered unanimously to be the most oppressive govt on Earth all combined with the opportunistic manner that this genocidal conflict is being used politically , domestically as a way of boosting select economies at the cost of human Yemen lives ...is all just so unmistakably indicative of psychopathology that it seems surreal to have to point it out .
" INAPPROPRIATE AFFECT "
Be instructive , no doubt , to have a large number if clinical psychologists to weigh in this particular matter , I think .
To be continued in next comment ...

@Scottzillyun ok firstly, Saudi Arabia is not unanimously considered the most oppressive government in the world. Syria actually is. Others that come to mind would be North Korea, The Sudan, Lydia, Somalia....all ranked as considerably more oppressive than Saudi Arabia.

@Scottzillyun I’m not making sense out of anything else in that message. Perhaps you should educate yourself on this situation and the history of events leading up to the current situation? Also I think researching the relationships between former US Presidents and. The Saudi Royal family would be beneficial, as well as the history of the US alliance with Saudi Arabia. This might help you to better understand our current relationship with King Salman and Prince Mohamed. It far predates Trump as does the civil war in Yemen.

@Christiep77 ...youre still using diversion tactics I see .
Shall we take this ' since you won't clarify your positions on the actual points if the initial post '
that you see no serious problem with our supreme elected , representative leader being so cozy , conspiratorial and lovingly cooperative with the Saudi's ?
Perhaps you support this regime and all it stands for ?
Anyway , the site ate my long response ...boohoo , hafta redo that a lil later...

@Scottzillyun since I have in no way offered my personal opinion on this subject, I’m not sure how you could come up with the conclusion that I support or oppose anyone. Please don’t insult my intelligence by twisting my efforts to try and understand your point here. Frankly, I haven’t offered my opinion because I still don’t really understand what you are trying to say...or prove...I’m not sure you really understand the situation. If you would like to defend yourself with facts and evidence, by all means please enlighten me. Otherwise I’m not inclined to actually take a side in a debate with someone who isn’t educated on the subject at hand.

@Christiep77 Smart, well informed women RULE!

@Xena thank you very much!

@Christiep77 ...you don't make another country stable by genociding it .
You genocide it by genociding it .
Call thins what they are ?
Obviously you are wrong that that S .A is a useful ally for the U.S against Iran , mainly cuz the U.s is a country not an army , an army is only a part of a country and what it does may or may not be in the interest of the country it is in which is the case here in the U.S where the majority is virtually always against every war and in this case the majority sees no reason to even be enemies with Iran or to buddy up with Saudis against them ...just war for the sake of conquest .
Certainly , U.S citizens should be concerned that we have ' resources ' in this brutal country and even more concerned with how many ' resources ' they have in our country and how much control t hey have over our presidential puppets as is shown in this video .
Anyway , downplaying the damage in yemen is something readers can google for themselves .
Just 2 days ago a saudi operated drone ' acquired from us no doubt ' killed 56 children on a bus ...your collateral damage is a decent persons war crime !

@Christiep77 .... Of course, you can say anything you want about Syria , and obviously you will regardless of its merit beyond useful propaganda ...all I can do is point ppl to good sources to shine the light of truth on your lies .
I recommend .
Abby Martin of Empire files .
Lee Camp of redacted news .
And Jimmy dore.
All can be found on youtube .
I also recommend that readers remember who you are and that you are here soley to spread war machine propaganda .

@Christiep77 well you might recall , if you werent distracted by the urge to spread propaganda , that the original post is about asking for opinions si that is what was expected of course , answers , opinions , justifications .
As well , I didnt come to a conclusion on about your opinion , I used that question mark thingy which you might do well to remember means that the writer is ' ASKING YOU A QUESTION ' .
And the rest of your ramblings are unworthy of any response .

@Christiep77 ...I think ppl who might be led to buy into your propaganda about Syria should just youtube the videos of Assad in general that arent made by enemies and see the real Assad, especially the ones where he' driving himself through his bombed out country in a cheap car ...gives a good distinction between himself as a normal kinda guy and his war machine enemies .

@Christiep77 ...there ya go again ignoring the actual video in question to suggest that cuz its been done before it shouldnt be questioned now , like since slavery existed for a long time that it must not be bad .

@Scottzillyun lolololol...Ok.....Bless your heart. Perhaps discussing current events surrounding the geopolitical partnerships, interests and partnerships in the Middle East and the United State’s history of diplomacy in the region isn’t something you are very knowledgeable about. Perhaps doing some research on the subject would help you make a more convincing arguement about...whatever it is your point here happens to be....I could also suggest brushing up on your debating skills. Until then maybe it would be best if you stuck with....less complicated topics...like I noticed a rather fascinating post of yours regarding who the prettiest girls are...

@Scottzillyun a man has to know his limits! And you reached yours long ago. She doesn't have the facts right and she obviously isn't willing to learn. Leaving her totally complacent within the main stream medias managed perceptual illusion. Based on the 2 establishment political party supporters, most are not willing to even except that their country is allied with a country as one of the most human rights abusers known. Trump supporters will justify this by any means. Labeling him as a monster was also a mistake. A political divide mistake. The whole approach to this issue was of a poor judgment error. We are 15 years from a war in Iraq that was based on lies in which nearly 5000 US soldiers lost their lives, and not one family has raised an eyebrow to their loss, demanding answers. Despite all the evidence from the likes of Wesley Clark and great independent journalism, like TRNN above, most of the population of the US has become numb to the actions of our CIA and the chaos abroad the military finishes for them. And that the media keeps them uninformed from. They can't even begin to fathom how we are being moved towards a fascist nationalized country as is also going on in Europe today. In which both our establishment parties are part of.

@William_Mary as I said before, bring me some evidence. Support your position. Simply saying your opinion is truth, doesn’t make it so. The facts in his initial arguement were weak and based on a very biased media source. I simply asked him to explain or back up his position on....Im still not quite sure what the point was...and he can’t do that. He’s a blind follower of the anti Trump train with no orignal thoughts or ideas, just a simpleton regurgitating what the talking heads tell him too. Further, I have yet to state my opinion of Trump, our alliance with Saudi Arabia or the current deal for weapons. You also don’t know anything about me or my political leanings, nor can you possibly have enough information to assume what sources I get my news from or my willingness to accept new information.

@Christiep77 ...but still, of course , you avoid talking about the video and the obviousness of the callous monstrousness of your orange god man as he makes deals to trade the blood of yemeni's for money and votes .
The video is the evidence as you well know you devious lil propagandist you .
Nobody' s gonna buy your garbage no matter how much ya keep regurgitating it .

@William_Mary, ...he's a monster and thats what Im gonna call him !

@Scottzillyun lol. Sweetie, you are having trouble putting together a complete and coherent sentence. Seriously. Stick with something a little less complicated. My nine year old enjoys Fortnite. Maybe you could try that. Legos I think could also be a good option....

@Christiep77 ...are these really the best mental gymnastics that ya got , well , I didnt expect better from Trumps lil monsters ....keep it up , show everyone what youre made of .

@Scottzillyun First I’ll address your video. This video was basically a compilation of stock footage narrated by, I assume some sort of writer or reporter employed by TRNN. His descriptions of what is being shown lack any sort of validation in referencing sources of information. Further while TRNN does have a good record of reporting facts, they report them in such a way that is biased and left leaning. They also tend to report only stories that further their left leaning agenda. They lack the variety of content that would make them a truly neutral news provider. So that being said, this is propaganda. Nothing about what I said was false or misleading. It is a fact that Saudi Arabia is an important US ally in the Middle East. Whether or not we should be is certainly debatable but the fact that the alliance exists is not. The reasons we are in this alliance are also fact. We can also debate the morality of these reasons and certainly speculate on other reasons but again, reality is reality whether you like it or not.

@Scottzillyun The first priority of the President of the US is to protect the interests of the American people. He has a duty and a responsibility to Americans first. It’s right there in the oath of office. It’s also what most other world leaders are and should be tasked to do. Put the interests of their countries first. So, based on that, no, I do not believe this video showcases or proves Trump to be a monster. There are plenty of other opportunities to question Trumps decisions, but this isn’t one of them. The arms deal will pump huge amounts of money into the American economy. It also will provide a significant amount of jobs and further boost the already booming American economy. It also drives down prices and drives down the cost of defending our country and interests.

That being said, I am no fan of Donald Trump. His behavior is unacceptable and at the very least childish and at the most damaging. His behavior is ruinous to the US reputation. I tend to be fiscally conservative and favor a small federal government with an emphasis on states rights and civil liberties and personal responsibility. However, socially I tend to be more moderate to liberal. The restrictions of our two party system make it nearly impossible for a candidate to run who truly represents my values and goals. Further it produces damaged, selfish candidates such as Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton and makes people like me feel like we are always forced to choose the lesser of two bad options.

@Scottzillyun It is at the very least naive to put the conflict in Yemen in such simple terms as we are trading lives for money. The situation is so much more complicated than that. The insurgent forces that overthrew the government are back by Iran. With the US hostile relationship and Iran’s alliance with Syria and Russia being cozy with Syria, it is not in the best interests of the US for Iran to gain a foothold in Yemen. Further, the instability in Yemen has allowed the opportunity for Al Qaeda to set up a presence there and as the country becomes more unstable, the threat of an attack emanating from that region becomes more and more a concern for the US and other western countries. Yemen also remains of significant importance as it sits on the strait through which most of the worlds oil shipments pass. Our enemies gaining control of this passage would have dire consequences for the US. If Saudi Arabia is specifically targeting civilians, that needs to be addressed, however it should be noted that all powers involved in the insurgency have a history of positioning displaced civilians close to or even within military targets. They also employ a lot of mercenary style tactics and while people fighting on behalf of the insurgents aren’t officially combatants, they are fighting for their cause and labeling them as civilians is misleading. That being said, there is no excuse for attacking groups of civilian woman and children and if that is happening SA needs to answer for it.

@Scottzillyun Your statement that Saudi Arabia is unanimously considered the most oppressive country in the world is just wrong. It’s false. It’s not considered by anyone to be the most oppressive country, though it always makes the list due to it being an absolute monarchy, which is inherently oppressive, its use of corporal punishment and it’s restriction of women’s rights.

The reason it is not the most oppressive country is that citizens in SA experience a pretty high standard of living when it comes to creature comforts and healthcare. Prince Mohammad’s vision to modernize the country has vastly benefited the people there. He reduced greatly the power of the religious police force which was monumental in advancing women’s rights. I’m not saying the man deserves a humanitarian award but progress is progress and that should be encouraged. Women are now allowed to drive and obtain ID cards. They are also able to now seek healthcare, open a business and be educated without the permission of a male chaperone. They can also retain custody of their children after a divorce, attend public events and hold some offices within the government. Are there still improvements to be made, absolutely, but it seems like, at least for now advancements are being made. Saudi citizens are also allowed to leave. They can vacation, seek business opportunities and education and move to other countries.

@Christiep77 ...firstly,and I seriously do recommend that you see a therapist about this .
What I see from you here is the exact same callousness that you're defending Trump for exhibiting .
This is based entirely on your many comments on this post that so far have refused to give any infinitesimal concern to the tragedy of Yemen !
You maybe can't see his lack of capacity for natural human empathy cuz you yourself do not have that inside you either and do not understand what it is , what it means or why its important .
Seriously , get therapy , ya lil Monster !

@Scottzillyun lol. I repeatedly addressed that...I’m out...
