Yesterday I had my first experience with CBD in an oral form. I have used the ointment and it works very well on aches and pains but never had experienced the intake of CBD.
Well, if you have anxiety, stressors, or other things that keep your mind busy, you might want to try it.
Now, what I took has no THC so I did not get that odd buzz that I never have enjoyed from smoking weed. But this, well it was different.
Have you tried or used CBD for any purpose? How has it affected you?

After surgery, I will have a course of intravenous chemotherapy. I am curious about CBD and it's affects. Also, in my state, medical marijuana is legal. I will be asking my oncologist some questions about this in the future. Right now my focus is getting through surgery and getting healed from that.

@Akfishlady Thank you for the compliment. I never know how I'm coming across to others. Sometimes I don't get the reaction I was expecting or intended.

I've tried a couple edibles - peanut butter cookies and coffee candies. One candy's enough to take some of the edge off I may be experiencing at the time, but I also tend to combine it with a shot of something, too. Don't do it often and when I do, it's when I know I'm not going anywhere.

I tried my late dh's "pate" edible, not sure if that counts? He was scared to try it fearing it was too strong but I thought it was lovely, even if I did have to take a benadryl because it made my throat itch. Great muscle relaxer I thought, between that & the benadryl slept like a baby.

Now I'm tempted, and it's been almost 2 yrs, still in the fridge.
How do you store yours?

The fridge or freezer is good.

@Sticks48 It's been in the fridge... I caved and can vouch it lost its potency.

@Qualia Freezing is better. Even freezing pot helps keep its potency and freshnees.

@Sticks48 Ah dang, well I did not know that. He also had oil. It's in a dropper bottle.

@Qualia l am not dure about the oil. I will ask a friend. I do have cooking oil and butter he gave me.l keep the butter in the freezer.

@Sticks48 POT BUTTER? !! ? Now I've heard everything! LOL

I too struggle with anxiety and I wait smoking weed because it always spiked it. When I told my friend I quit smoking because of that he gave me a cbd candy and was like "it's for getting high with out anxiety bruu" and it was actually really nice

meanwhile here in texas... it sucks

@SeeCanU I'm so sorry I remember being in your same position it sucks well if you ever have a chance come up here to Washington and pay us a visit we can have a field day

@Akfishlady where did I say "everything" is about being high? That's quite extreme and way off. The high for those of us who have used weed for 50 YEARS... is important. The medical benefits have been known to us all that time.
