I have seen moms who still think they are in school and relish in the drama and cattiness that they stir up. But sadly, some kids are decked out in expensive cloths next to some kids whose parents can not afford very expensive outfits. The social cliques that form are many time based on the clothes kids wear.

Argh. I feel you. When my girls were in HS, it was nearly impossible to find clothing that was trendy and fit the dress code. Let students be students who wear what makes them comfortable.
