Republicans view women as chattel.

This has saved so many lives, it's insane they could let it end.

Why don't they just gas everyone but the rich white males and the stepford wives and be done with it? Then they could have ALL the money and everything else without all us pesky poor, old, sick, and disabled people who are just in their fekking way???? I swear they would if they could!

What could make anyone not support That? I should probably just go back to sleep.

Molly Ball talked to opponents and wrote a piece about it:.

I do not condone the opposition by sharing this except:

"The act's grants have encouraged states to implement "mandatory-arrest" policies, under which police responding to domestic-violence calls are required to make an arrest... But Villegas and other critics say mandatory-arrest laws can backfire. A 2007 study found that states with such laws saw increases in intimate-partner homicides -- perhaps because they made victims, who may have wanted the police to intervene without making an arrest, less likely to report abuse before it could escalate out of control. "

@CallMeDave I wonder if the stats are true. I need to look at that.

@Bierbasstard Agreed!

@PalacinkyPDX Absolutely! That is one of the reasons women are killed at higher rate than man. Should not happen!
