When you retire from the service for which you received security clearances , your clearances are revoked at retirement . If he's retired , he is no longer cleared .

Uh, no. This admiral in the story is retired and still has security clearance. When high ranking military and intelligence officers retire they keep their security clearance so that their successors can ask for opinions on current events.

I might have the MEN IN BLACK at my door but - we need a military coup in this country to take out tRUMP because the shitheads in congress will not do it. We have men in the military who can and should. Chaos for a while but we'll survive it.
