You Will Have Too Come Over.
Me too, I must get over to Edinburgh soon, I’m getting pangs of longing!
I was over there 2 years ago. Stayed mainly in Edinburgh, but also took the train to Malaig (sp?), then,by ferry, over to the Isle of Skye. I went for 8 days with my daughter and had a wonderful time. Learned that Hume was one of the 1st outspoken atheists. It's my ancestral homeland (Robertson), and I felt very much at home.

Yes, the Scottish Enlightenment was way ahead of its time. I like to think I may be descended from one of these freethinkers! Either that or one of the Norsemen whom a lot of Scots are descended from!
@Coldo as soon as I can, sir. I loved it there (the food was so good). You may have noticed in one or another of my posts that I'm an avid mountainbiker. One of the YouTube channels I watch is a young guy who calls himself McTrailrider, and he posts videos of the different trails he rides, usually in the Highlands. It's very different from what I ride here; more of a challenge, I think.
