I met a guy on my flight today to Denver. A big guy, burly, red neck. He started talking to me, asking me about myself, work life, kids and then my wife. I told him I was recently divorced. He sensed my grief and quickly change the subject. Talked about fishing and such. Told him I was new to the area. When we landed he said "here, take my number, I know what it's like to be alone". As I write this I am crying. He has helped renew my faith in man kind some what. I will beat this grief with people like him.

Thank you for sharing this ! It so easy for us to give in to BCJ disease (bitter , cynical , jaded) it sometimes take a story like yours to remind us that there is good in the world.

I believe that kindness and generosity are far more loving than any religion.
