What do folks thing about returning to the moon, and our current government saying that they want a colony there? Will this inspire other nations to make claims for mining, etc. India already announced a man to the moon by 2024.

I actually find compelling arguments that the moon was constructed and it is not a planet at all. The most compelling of which to me are: The rotation of the moon is precisely what it needs to be so that only one side continuously faces the earth with zero variation as it rotates around the earth. The moon is also exactly the minimal size required to completely block the sun in a total eclipse. There are many other factors but those two alone are an unbelievable coincidence that do not appear to have happened by accident.

I think human colonization of the moon is inevitable, whether in twenty years or two hundred. It’s a dream that is deep in the race. The trick is how do we use it and (hopefully) preserve it. The sanl e way would be through careful planning, thought, and regard for scientific principles and positive political discourse with other countries to ensure a communal sharing of resources. This of course won’t happen, especially with 45 and his moronic gang in charge, although I suspect this is another shiny diversion to draw attention away from his administration’s continued rape and pillaging.

Other nations will do it anyway. Trouble lies ahead.
