Greetings from Ireland fellow beings. The pope was in Ireland this weekend. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to bump into him. However, I did attend a public meeting in support of those who suffered sexual abuse at the hands (and other bodily parts) of those who preach gods message. The meeting called for the complete separation of church and state.

Good for you, saw some of the protests on TV. Leo Varadker made a powerful speech, I like your new progressive breed of politicians, wish we could get rid of our lot of f....kers up here. How can the faithful still flock to see and listen to a man who ‘s church has condoned and covered up such horrific child abuse. Will nothing deter them! Their brains must be wired differently from mine.

I made a post myself yesterday after I read the Sunday Times. There is a powerful article by Liam Fay in condemnation, however the church still has its apologists. Tony Fkannery and David Quinn both qualify their condemnations with the usual caveats.
