Silly question: Can you tell more about a person from their taste in movies or their taste in music?

Ask what movie sound track they listen to, it kinda kills 2 birds with a single hammer.

Or an even better approach. If they maintain their own personal library. Look at the books.

Never assume you know someone by there taste in some of life’s great pleasures. Movies like comedy and music are totally subjective. There’s no accounting for taste. What makes one person laugh will cause another to cry. I know so many people who’s taste is so narrow and are unaware of the meaning of eclectic. Unable to allow new experiences in cinema or sound is like depriving the senses of new stimulation.Variety is the spice they say. ! , We like what we like but to stereotype a horror buff for example as a emo Manson freak may be correct , or totally off the mark as after a horror movie binge, then watches the notebook , free willy and remains of the day.

Ok, just for fun: Last movie was A Midsummers Night Dream (Kevin Kline, Michelle Pfeiffer) and I am currently listening to Faun on Pandora!
