So, in the mail today: A flyer for something called The Midnight Cry. A 3 day seminar, essentially about the "end times". Night 1: Europe's Last Hour. Night 2. Unmasking the Antichrist. Night 3. The Rise of the Beast with the Number 666. Correction...there is 18 nights of this garbage! Wow...these people are fucking insane. Here is their website: Attendhope.com/midnightcry

For anyone interested, I remember reading about "The Midnight Cry," a publication written around 1844 after William Miller's "Great Disappointment." From Miller's legacy came Seventh Day Adventists, the Bible Students, and Jehovah's Witnesses. It sounds like this preacher, C. Parker Thomas, has revived some of those old ideas to found himself another church based on the old eschatological ideas of Miller.

I’ve received the same wherever I’ve lived -- we’re surrounded. And, I’ve asked the same question. What a sick fishing expedition they’re on … hoping to hook ‘us!’ Let’s starve them 🙂

Maybe they could find a comet and ride it into the beyond.
