Any other mushroom hunters out there? It's almost time! Where are you located and what do you go for? I'm on the Oregon coast and usually go for chanterelles and boletes. Last year I found a cauliflower mushroom that I cut some off 3 weeks in a row! I also tried chicken of the woods last year. I found some chanterelles already. I saw one chicken of the woods and one lonely oyster last weekend. Will have to go back and check again!

This part of ky is full of all kinds of mushrooms. From spring until late fall. It's got to be all the wooded areas. And areas that were once woods.

I live in Colorado...Denver where the only mushroom hunting is in a grocery. I love them though. I’d love to learn more about how and where.

Fungi are such fun! I don't hunt anymore, though, as I live in an urban setting

I love wild sponge mushrooms in the spring but I no longer live in a wet enough area.
