I just watched Battle for Sevastopol on Amazon. pretty good biography of a woman sniper,( Pavlichencko) in the Russian Army during WW2
I've seen a lot of information about her. She was a major propaganda tool for the Red Army to recruit women. They didn't have to fabricate any details of her exploits in combat, even though they no doubt embellished political aspects, but that's the norm.
She was an inspiration to a wartorn country on the verge of defeat as well as a serious threat to the German invaders.
How do I find it?
its on Amazon prime, you can put in her name or the name of the movie
Sounds interesting..
Since I am not in history class I don't memorize names but there was a guy in the Russian military that was a master sniper . THe movie Enemy at the Gate covered him. I have heard more about him. This woman Pavlichenko shot 309 Germans and did a lot of other awesome warrior acts. The movie just makes me want to know more about her
Collusion !!!! ?????
Eleanor Roosevelt had this sniper (name blocking) and a bunch of other commies in the white house with her
@btroje has it been going on since then?????.... (You know I would say whatever just because, right?).... By the way, what's with the (name blocking)???? ??? .... Oh I get it, spoil alert? Anyhow, the Roosevelt started socialism back in the day, didn't they? That may explain the commies thing.... dunno
