Now would be the time to have a couple of those magnetic ''skins'' to put on that truck..."Caution! An idiot drives this vehicle."

I'll never understand it. Willful ignorance.

I don't think one can be willfully ignorant. One can be willfully deceitful. In this case I think the person is simply delusional.

@RandyTerry Sorry, but I would disagree with you about willful ignorance. There are people who refuse to look at the facts, and that, to me, is willful ignorance. Willful deceit could also mean deceiving themselves as well as others.

@tnorman1236 I would argue that they look at the facts and dismiss them because it doesn't jibe with their preconceived notion about what is real, which would be delusional. Moreover, I think free will is a myth. What causes a person to see the facts and reject them while others see the facts and accept them? I don't see how one can deceive themselves. How does one believe something to be true and tell themselves it is not true?

@RandyTerry Your word "delusional" is my word "willfully ignorant". And people deceive themselves all the time.

@tnorman1236 I simply don't think there is anything willful about delusion/ignorance. Again, how does one believe something to be true and tell themselves it is not true?

@RandyTerry You think what you want, and I'll think what I want, and we'll leave it at that.
