This is interesting to me. Should black face be used as a form of respect for an artist while performing?
It would make me nervous as all get-out. That kind of caricature has got to be offensive to Blacks.

"Hamilton" has black artists playing white men, so why can't a white person convey the role of a black artist? Using black face is an insult to our 21st century intelligence.
They don't put on white face either and there's no historically (or contemporarily) racist connotation in THAT.
