@walklightly lol, didn't have to be sexual just ridiculous. From the same source as the story I relate came the startling fact that in 20 years in the N.American medical field examining naked men the author had only seen 3 uncircumcised men and that too many men did not even know that they were circumcised.

@walklightly yes utterly extreme and laughable. Only ignorant barbarians gratuitously cut bits off helpless babies and infants when most in need of protection.

@FrayedBear, it used to have a reason of hygiene, but these days is not justifiable any more in most cases ... other than anatomical anomalies.

@walklightly anatomical anomalies are more likely to occur from circumcision. About 21 years ago a fantastic film was shown on SBS or the ABC made at the instigation of female doctors in the UK on circumcision. It went into graphics detail of the side effects but not the mental consequences to men left with abnormalities.

@walklightly oh and statistically 2 in 6,000 died as a consequence of the unnecessary surgery.
