My mom still bugs me about not believing in god...gets old?
My mother has learned not to bother me on the subject of religion as I have a ready to use litany of church/religion examples of badness, deceit, and grose assault on reason and honesty to support the foundation of church FAITH (Belief without evidence dishonestly asserted as as truth (Things that are demonstrated with facts)).
Get a friend to paint themselves blue, go round your Mum's house and tell her you have found the one true god, and he is here now for tea, Mum meet Vishnu.
You could turn it around and ask her why she doesn't believe in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. Tel her YOU just outgrew believing in mythical/imaginary beings.
Right. Faith is what allows us to believe in all those invisible friends you mentioned. Why would mom discriminate among them?
