I get REALLY confused with self proclaimed Christians who put tattoos all over their body and fuck everyone and have lots of kids, go around stealing shit and then to put salt on the wound, I'm the evil atheist that they would like to kick my teeth in or do it on me, if not outright abuse. It seems fairly common, someone help me sort out this confusion since the Bible clearly says thou shall not steal or put marks on your body, etc. It's like those folks that get a tattoo of a cross. What kind a sick, twisted reasoning is this?

It's a lack of education and a lack of understanding of their own belief system, and it's alarmingly common. The unexamined life is a dark place, full of fear and hatred.
The same misplaced hatred exists in the atheist world as well, and it's up to us to decide to educate ourselves to better understand their histories, and our own, and eventually help shine the light of reason on others.
